2 Weeks Old

You are 2 weeks old today, April 26!
Your second week you met more family and friends, and Mom and Dad took you to some places outside the house.

Mom, Carolyn, Owen, Kelsey
Mom's cousin Kelsey Quiring came to visit, with her husband Andy and her younger son Owen. Owen was born a couple weeks before you. This  picture was taken in the same room that your great-grandma Phyllis (and Owen's great-grandma, too!) was born. Now you are here!

Another important set of visitors were your aunt Meeghan and uncle Denny.
Here you are meeting Meeghan, with Bailey nearby of course.

1 Week Old

Here you are, 1 week old.

You had more visitors over the rest of your first week. Mom and Dad were happy to have people visit with you. Also, they came over and brought baby supplies. The biggest thing you needed more of was clothes--you were too little for most of the things your mom had bought, so she had to send people to the store to buy smaller newborn things!

Meeting Mom and Dad's friend Tammy. Bailey had to make sure she was safe, first!

Grandma Barb also stopped over.

Mark and Katie came to see you on your second day home.

Hanging out on your dad's lap--with your dog, of course.

Propped up on your mom's lap.

All three of you are saying no more photos, please.

1st Day Home

After Mom and Dad brought you home from the hospital, you had two more visitors. Your Grandma Barb came over, and along with her came your great-grandmother Helen Ingvalson.

Bailey stayed close to make sure you were okay!

When you were first born, you held your arms tight and tense like this.

Good stretch!

Ready for bed.

Bailey stayed up with you the whole first night.

Coming Home

After two days at St. Joseph's hospital, it was time to take you home. Mom dressed you up in your "going home" outfit. It was a little too big!

Mom and Dad loaded you into the car (that they got because they knew it would be a better car for a baby) and drove to your home in Minneapolis. It was still cold for April, so they dressed you up in a hat and a fuzzy, warm car bundler. Your grandma Barb knit the hat.

As soon as you got in the house, it was time for you to meet Kai, your cat, and Bailey, your dog. Your mom and dad love the pets very much, and they were excited to introduce you to Kai and Bailey.

Kai sniffing you in your carrier.

Daddy lifts up the cat so he can get a good view of you.

Bailey's first chance to see you.
Cats are not as friendly as dogs are. After Kai saw you and sniffed you, he decided it was important to also sniff your stroller and carrier. Bailey, however, kept wanting to look at you. He wanted to get as close as possible, and he kept trying to lick your face. We knew he liked you already!
